2024 Summer Festival: The Beethoven Effect
Experience Beethoven’s SOUND, FIRE, PIANO, VIRTUOSITY, and his impact on music TODAY!
Musical selections this summer illuminate how Beethoven’s genius sparked ever-emerging ripple effects to the world of music. This summer, we spotlight both well-loved and new music by today’s greatest living composers—inspired by Beethoven’s revolutionary foundations—that excites, invigorates understanding, and inspires from the very roots of chamber music and into where today’s chamber music form has grown. With more than 70 of the most exceptional chamber musicians from our region and around the world—from piano and horn to percussion, winds, and strings—this summer’s carefully curated festival will illuminate Beethoven’s influence and enduring reverberations across the music world today, and evermore.
